MOU inked between Microsoft & the Punjab Government. Microsoft IT Academies will be established in TEVTA institutions across the province. Microsoft will be responsible for their curriculum, coduct of examination as well as teachers' training.

It is envisioned that the Potential Collaboration will cover the following areas of cooperation:

  • To put an integrated effort to provide skilled manpower to the industry to enhance global competitiveness through a quality and productive workforce, supported by developing a demand-driven, standardized and dynamic technical education and vocational training system. The purpose of this MOU is to foster an alliance between the Parties for the pursuit of advancing education in Pakistan.

A Mamorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Government of the Punjab and Getronics Pakistan Limited under which Getronics will provide latest technology to TEVTA for the promotion of Technical Education in the province.

A training Course on "Networking Solutions" has been started, 24 master trainer has been trained. The objective is to build their capacity for handling IT Equipment and the Institutional Labs.

A Mamorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between The University of Northampton (UoN), Technical Education & Vocational Training Company (TEVTC) and Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).

By reason of their being educational and training establishments, UoN and TEVTC/TEVTA share interests and objectives in programme development, research and academic exchanges, etc. These institutions are interested in establishing academic co-operation framework agreement with institutions of similar nature in order to assist in the achievement of their goals and objectives.

The UoN and TEVTC/TEVTA jointly agree to subscribe to a co-operative framework agreement in order to upgrade the leather sector in Pakistan with the following purposes:

  1. To assist in a structured cascading of training aiming at but not limited to training of trainers, downstream training in institutions, training abroad, etc.
  2. To share Northampton University, Reutlingen University and ISC Pirmasen's best practices in terms of course design and implementation at all levels.
  3. To enhance capability of training and advisory services to make the leather industry competitive in the global market.
  4. To work together towards achieving accreditation for TEVTA/TEVTC leather sector programmes/institutions.

The bank would fund for vocational and 3 year DAE Courses No degree Course would be included in the project and existing Building Structure would be used for the project.

Language barrier is the main hurdle for placement of TEVTA gradates in the International market. The students of GCT's and GTTI's need to improve their oral and written expression in English. It had been planned to make Language Labs in 30 TEVTA Institutions. British Council will train 15 master trainers who would further train 30 trainers and up to May 2011, approx. 350 teachers would be improved their teaching skills.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made between Tetra Pak Pakistan Ltd. AND Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) to;

  • Provide highly skilled persons who operate Tetra Pak filling machines as well as take care of general cleaning.
  • Bring technical knowledge and skills to Pakistan and actively participate in creating job opportunities in the country.
  • Broaden the competence level of operators in order to improve product quality output at optimized operational cost.

Primarily set in place a 7-week pilot training course for the above objective.
The pilot course should lead in to a continuous schedule of courses to accomplish world class level of Operators for the Pakistan Ultra-High Temperatur (UHT) market. These courses will be driven by TEVTA with Tetra Pak taking up a supporting role.

  • Relax the standard of Merit exclusively for the Children of SOS Villages.
  • Bear all expenses on account of fee etc through the institutional funds.

Tameer-e-Millat Foundation (TMF) is a non Government Organization running various Technical, Vocational & General Education institutions as not for profit organization.

Tameer-e-Millat Foundation (TMF) intends to contribute for training of youth from Flood affected areas with the assistance of TEVTA. The Major Objectives are;

  • To provide employable skills to the trainees.
  • To help alleviate poverty from the province.
  • To assist Government in Flood Rehabilitation Process.

  • Establishment of training corner by providing space and machinery, equipment, tools & furniture etc, at Tameer-e-Millat Institute ofTechnology (TMIT) Fateh Jhang.
  • Provision of Training material as per requirement.
  • Stationery including books, registers, practical note books etc.
  • Provision of instructors for the required trades
  • Provision of quality training and skills to trainees, this includes both theoretical and practical.

The FOUNDATION is dedicated to promoting peace and harmony within and between societies through building capacily of individuals and institutions by the provision of services, training and skills transfer.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide the framework for a Public-Private Partnership arrangement between the Parties for the establishment, management and operation of an Advanced Driver Training Institute (School of Motoring) in Lahore with branches in major population centres for the training of professional drivers and operators of light and heavy vehicles, and heavy machinery.
