Lahore August 19, 2019: Chairman Technical Education and Vocational Training Authoritt (TEVTA) Ali Salman Siddique has said that no compromise will be made on quality of technical education provided by TEVTA. We will provide training to our students while keeping in mind the international standards, he said. Chairman took briefing from different departments of TEVTA on Monday. He also ordered to focus on the need to update syllabus and teachers training. He said that we must keep in mind the needs of international market as well as local market. So that our students can took benefit from large number of job oppurtunities across the world, he added. The chairman further said that we need to learn from models of China, Japan, Germany and many other countries who are developed in the field of technical efucation. Its my wish that our students should took training on scholarships. He added that tevta will play a big role in government plan to provide jobs to youngsters.

Lahore December 09, 2018: TOYATA-Technical Education Program (T-TEP) is running in TEVTA with cooperation of TOYATA Indus Motors. TEVTA and TOYATA jointly celebrated its 15th career day under this program on dated 09-12-2018. Punjab Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal was the chief guest. Chief Operating Officer (COO) TEVTA Mr. Akhtar Abbas Bharwana and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) TOYOTA Indus Motors Mr. Ali Asghar Jamali were also present in the ceremony.
In the event TOYOTA Indus Motors offered employment to TEVTA Pass-outs. The employment offer letters were presented to selected students in the ceremony. Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal appreciated the students and advise them to pay full attention on their new endeavors and work hard.
Lahore November 28, 2018: Punjab Minister for Industries Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that skilled and vocational education is top priority of the government. He was addressing the prize distribution ceremony at Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) here on Wednesday at TEVTA Secretariat. Chief Operating Officer (COO) TEVTA Akhtar Abbas Bharwana was also present at the occasion.
Mian Aslam Iqbal went on saying that providing job to 10 million people is target of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) government. He also stressed the need to improve the enrollment of female in technical and vocational education. COO Akhtar Abbas Bharwana said that prize money of 7 million is being distributed to students who belong to Punjab.
Lahore: Provincial Minister for Industries Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that government will plant 10 billion trees in its five year tenure. He was talking to media after planting a sapling here on Tuesday at Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Secretariat. Secretary Industries and Chairman TEVTA Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari, General Manager TEVTA Akhtar Abbas Bharwana were also present on the occasion. The Minister went on saying that the tree plantation campaign will also continue in all the institutes of TEVTA across the province. He said that if government will not take this matter seriously, Pakistan could be a barren country in few years Chairman TEVTA Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari said that tree plantation drive is in progress in 400 institutes of TEVTA in which students are taking keen interest. He also promised that all sapling planted in campaign will also be taken care of.
