Lahore, July 12, 2019: Technical Education and VOcational Training Authority (TEVTA) and Tianjin Modern Vocational College China signed five different Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) here on Thursday at TEVTA secretariat.
Chairman TEVTA Hafiz Farhat Abbas and President Tianjin Modern Vocational College Cao Yanli signed the MoUs in a ceremony.
While talking to media persons Chairman TEVTA Hafiz Farhat Abbas said that 75 students are going to China on scholarship where they will get modern training on Robotics and Automation. He sad that industry is shifting to robotics and automation from manual therefore it is necessary for students to learn it.
He also informed that all expenses of these students including travel expenses will be bear by China. Talking about China's friendship, Hafiz Farhat Abbas said that China is our friend and such actions are further strengthening our friendship.
Between TEVTA and Lahore College for Women University (LCWU)
Lahore, July 12, 2019: Chairman TEVTA Hafiz Farhat Abbas and Vice Chancellor LCWU Dr. Bushra Mirza signed agreement at a ceremony held at TEVTA Secretariat. As per agreement a Hunergah will be establish at LCWU campus where females would be trained different trades.
While adressing the ceremony Chairman TEVTA Hafiz Farhat Abbas said that its priority of TEVTA to make women independent through providing technical education. He said that we would train women to utilize their skills in national development. Because no nation can progress without women's active participation, he added.
Vice Chancellor LCWU Dr. Bushra Mirza said that women should be given technical and skilled education along with general education and this Hunergah will play important role in this initiative.

Lahore, June 25, 2019: Chairperson TEVTA Signed MOU with Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) to Provide Computer Financial Management Training to Local Govt. employees.
Between TEVTA and US Consulate Lahore
Lahore April 03, 2019: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Punjab signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US Consulate Lahore here on Wednesday.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman TEVTA Nadeem ur Rahman, US Consul General Lahore Colleen Crenwelge, Cheif Operating Officer TEVTA Akhtar Abbass Bharwana and others.
The courses will be offered in partnership with Lahore Institute of Future Education (LIFE) and the DOVE Foundation to provide English language training to 160 students in Bahawalpur and 125 in Lahore.
While addressing the ceremony Chairman TEVTA Nadeem ur Rahman said that TEVTA wanted to extend its collaboration with US consulate. He added that TEVTA is offering tailor made courses as per needs of industry so that students could get opportunities in their areas.
